In the theme demo (referencing https://invicodt.wpengine.com/about/) there is a background image in the breadcrumbs navigation section at the top of the page (behind the “About” text).
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get an image here. I have tried setting a featured image, and have even tried going into the page editor and selecting a background image in the Page Settings –> Breadcrumb –> Background section. Neither has any effect, I am still left with a basic black background (see here: https://boundlesstax.com/Wpalt/about/). What am I doing wrong?
Hi.,
Kindly watch the following video to get a clear view of chnage the breadcrumb bg image.

If you need to chnage the breadcrumb bg image for individual page you need to edit the page with default page editor, not the elementor editor- it only for page content editor. then you can see the page setting under the page editor here you can chnage the breadcrumb bg image for individual page with an individual option with bread crumb tab.
If you need the single breadcrumb bg image or common breadcrumb bg image for all the pages, then select the “Admin option in your page settings breadcrumb tab then set the common image in your theme settings Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Site Breadcrumb > Colors & Background > Background > Background Image.

Neither of those seem to work. I had already tried changing the individual breadcrumb on each page via Pages –> Edit –> Page Settings –> Breadcrumb –> Background, and it doesn’t do anything. (At about 0:11 in your video you can see the breadcrumb background I am trying to use using “inspect element” but it does not display properly.)
After reading your response, I did try the admin option by going into Appearance –> Customize –> Site Breadcrumb –> Colors & Background –> Background –> Background Image, then setting the page to the “Admin option” and it also doesn’t seem to change anything. The backgrounds are uploading and showing in either spot but the breadcrumb background on the pages stay flat black.
Are there settings somewhere that are overriding the background to be black instead of showing the image? It seems to work when you’re looking at the demo template and although my image is linked properly in the page settings, it still does not display properly. Thanks for your assistance.
